Anyone had any experience with Moneycorp, just opened a facility with them and they seem very good.

I know some people found the Hifx people very helpful but that ignorant tw*t at the expo really annoyed me and put me off using them. anywhere between $2.50 and $3.00 my ass, freaking numpty!!! [smiley=icon_evil.gif] [smiley=icon_evil.gif] [smiley=icon_evil.gif]

Is that the exchange rate they quoted you Stevey, between $2.50 and $3.00? If so, that seems pretty reasonable and correct to me! The exchange rate changes from day to day so they can't give you a more accurate quote than that until the day you change your money [smiley=icon_neutral.gif]

Or have I missed something here? [smiley=icon_confused.gif]

No WG I appreciate the exchange rate can fluctuate but the bracket he suggested is just looking at the range over the last 12 months, which I could have done.
As they state on there website they are expert forecasters and work in up to second insider tips blahblah. For this reason I'd expect a narrower estimate, as I got when I went to moneycorps stand and they explained why the dollar had weakened so suddenly recently and went on to predict around mid may it will have settle down at around the mid 2.80s. It might go up to 2.90 but worst case we'd expect to achieve 2.80.

Which I thought was better, they told me something I didn't know unlike Hifx who gave me general answer that anyone could work out.

We have an account with Moneycorp, so far they have been very attentive, keeping us up to date with how the dollar is doing. They explain in good plain english too, any answers to my dumb questions. Haven't actually given up any money yet but they do look as if they'll be ok.
They were recommended to us by our immigration consultant.
