Stevey, thanks for the links. I've added them to the Master List and deleted your post. The list has now been locked to prevent people posting underneath it, as it's a thread kept purely for the list. It would be great if peeps could post any helpful links on this thread instead and then your posts can be kept for eternity instead of being deleted. [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif]

Sorry James, I had to delete yours as well. :'( No doubt you weren't aware of the situation.

Note to members: I've been regularly adding odd links myself so don't forget to check through every now and then in case you miss something interesting.

I wasn't notified. This has been emotionally stressful. First I congratulate someone, then my post gets deleted without prior written* knowledge of said deletion.

I'm considering a lawsuit for emotional pain and anguish.

Sorry, again, James. I didn't mean to upset you but knew that I would anyway ;D. If you read the first post on this thread it gives some indication of what was intended. Also I guess you missed all the initial chit chat about the list. This appeared underneath the list and was eventually deleted or moved to the associated thread as the list took shape and warranted a thread of its own. We thought it would be neater that way, otherwise it would have got lost in time if everyone had posted on there. Glad that you appreciate it though, as it was a heap of work to set it up.

Wasn't trying to start a conversation just a quick link addition as I was in there. If you find clicking delete on the bottom of threads that shouldn't be posted on a tad arduous I'll do it in due course. Will post here in the future if I have a contribution tho.

Stevey, James was congratulating Expat on an excellent links list. Had I been able to move his post into here, I certainly would have done, but it only allows us to move threads, doesn't it? Nothing to stop James reposting his message in here though.

It isn't a case of not wanting to bother deleting posts under the list, it's more about what's just happened. As I can't move individual posts, they would just be lost if I take them off the list thread. Better to post on here in the first place and it can sit happily ever after.

I guess, like a lot of people who weren't party to the starting up of the list, James would assume it was soley Expat's thread as his name is on it. ?Indeed it was his idea and he kicked it off. ?I just pumped it full of links, many of which I'd horded over time. ?It was a relief to dump them on the list, so they would have somewhere to stay in one place and where we can all find them when we need them. ?
