Jeez you have enough time to rule this forum, surf the web for random NZ news, surf the web for random smilies and animations to support the random posts and SURF with those that we do not speak of. Wow!!!!

That's that decided then, we'll not book with them unless anyone has a glowing report on them from this forum, whose opinion will obviously override those over there as most of them are numptys (apart from the ones who surf both of course ::): )

It's a gift! I also find time to do the odd bit of housework and cook the odd sandwich. Take this as an example of what not having a TV can do for your life.

And what are you still doing up at this time of night when you should be getting your beauty sleep? Not another poker game?

In the past my family have always booked through dial-a-flight, but the service and price they offer depends on who you get to speak too and what side of the bed they got out of!! The helpful Elizabeth sorted us from manchester to nelson all with the same carrier ( Air New Zealand last time) so if me missed a connection, it was upto them to sort it out. Her suggestion, and a good one at that.

Was up surfing actually, first time in ages I've surfed for so long about NZ. Was looking at flights and excursions mainly. Also dwelling on my last night before having to go to bed early for work the next day again. :icon_cry: *sob*

Yeah Nick I used to use Dial a flight all the time, I went with them to Hawaii a few years back but they seem to have lost there competetive edge now which is a shame as I received good service also.

Default reasonable flights

Hi everyone, Happy New Year
We have just booked our flights with Emirates, flying out of Manchester on 7th Feb with one 3 hour stop in Dubai and a refuel stop (1.5hrs) in Melbourne. Cost ?1,900 for 4 with 6 weeks notice. We have flown with Emirates before to Australia and thought they were very good and another airline we considered was Singapore Airlines but they were fully booked till the end of Feb! Waiting for confirmation on baggage allowance but should be 40kg each.

Went to Thomas Cook in the High Street as we had no better quotes elsewhere (ie on the internet). Recommend them, very good service. ::):

We went to Going Places today, and although they had already sold out, they did have some flights listed from London to Auckland for ?366GBP for an adult, so booking ahead with a travel agent may well prove cheaper.

We eventually booked with Expedia, the four of us are travelling to Auckland for ?1818GBP, which seemed quite reasonable. We are flying with Emirates who seem to be one of the best from various reviews I have read (though they have my parents luggage twice on separate flights to Dubai).

We fly out on 24 January, and are really looking forward to leaving.....
