i guess i just need to bring the 3 telly's and see if they look okay then..
if not, bin em and buy some more..

We brought two normal TVs with us from the UK. We have pictures on both but no sound. We could pay for a technician to sort them out, or plug them into the Sky box, have even heard that they work plugged into a NZ dvd player ... however, we use them for the kids playstation and the UK video/dvd player and have bought a NZ TV for general use.

...but there may be problems with the CRT TVs, which could develop purple splodges.

Mine has a large purple splodge now...hmmm....I'll have to check the back and see if it was made in NZ. ;D
