hi, what is the cost of living like compared to the UK? ....and is there anything else to be prepared for that may be a shock!!!

Well, that changes depending on the exchange rate! Some things are cheaper, some things are more expensive. The biggest shock to most people is the level of income they receive, which is generally lower than the UK.

If you don't need the latest plasma TV, every electronic toy going and the flashest car on the block, then you'll do fine!

Trademe seems good Stevey, without the overheads of a dealer. you have to be careful though.
I am thinking of a big beast for myself though :icon_lol:
