Default Found a House?!
Well we had a drive by a few houses this afternoon that we fancied in Camborne.
Managed to get a veiwing of one today and have arranged viewings tomorrow morning for this one and this one.

The one we saw today was nice- fantastic views and lots of rooms for kids for play rooms etc.
The two we are looking at tomorrow are both nice locations but 2nd one doesn't have much outdoor space for the kids.
Anyway, fingers crossed we will have one of them!

They all look great but the last one doesn't give much away with only 2 photos. The first one would be wonderful. I'll come and help you wash up if I can have views like that from the kitchen windows. The last one doesn't seem to have as much for the price - only 3 bedrooms. Says that no dogs are allowed but then adds that pets are OK. Second one also says pets are OK but cautiously mentions that cats may be considered.

Whatever you choose make sure that the house is facing the sun (north) and isn't shaded by any hills. That's a problem one previous member had in Wellie when he selected a place that didn't get much sun. His house was quite damp and the kids were ill during the winter time.

Good luck with choosing the right one.

They all look good. I liked the kitchen in the second one - I have this thing for a decent kitchen. Mine is so tiny that my top priority will be a decnt size kitchen (& view).

Hi ebianca,
I like the 2nd house best maybe because it's fully furnished.
Btw. anyone any idea roughly how much it cost to furnish an 'unfurnish' house?

Looks like the rental and choices here in Porirua are much better than Wellington central and ard its suburb where hubby is located. We had quite a hard time finding a place. A lot of those that we managed to view are taken up within few days!
We enjoyed viewing those houses though... they're so different and much more interesting than the flats (like apartment) that we are living in Singapore :)

Hi
The second house doesn't come fully furnished jus tthat it isn't empty at the moment.

No Idea how much it will cost to furnish a house but i'm gonna ahve fun finding out

You seem to get more for your money in Porirua and more chance of getting views with them and of course you are near the beaches.

We have put in an application today for the first house we looked at so MB if we get it you will be very welcome to come do my washing up

This house has loads of sun and has air conditioning in too (Neil was sold on that), we had to buy a (rather expensive) dehumidifier for this flat we are in as Jessica has had a bad cough since we got here- the place is damp being in the trees.

Anyway, fingers crossed we hear something soon and hope we et the rental.

Let's hope you've made the right choice. It certainly looks very nice and, if it gets lots of sun, what more could you ask for? Until I can get down there to do your washing up for you, just remember you're at the sink to do the washing up and NOT purely to admire the view .

Everything's duly crossed for you that you get the house and it'll be the start of something very good for you all.

We got the house!!!!!

Signed the tenency today and get keys 9th May!

Just been and spent a small fortune on sofa, dining suite and beds!
