Hi all, anyone want to buy a house in Tauranga?? We have reluctantly decided to sell our house now and Taffy and Welshgirl have very kindly allowed me to post a link to the agent here. Its a gorgeous house (5 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, impressive open plan kitchen/dining room - granite worktops, american style fridge/freezer, dishdrawer - air con, panel heaters in bedrooms, double glazing, fully landscaped section with views to Kaimais, Tauranga harbour and Mount Maunganui, on new development on city outskirts - major private hospital opened nearby in 2007)

A bit of an update - we switched agents a few weeks ago, and decided to try putting the house up for auction in mid June. Got a bit more interest in the house through the new agents (Bayleys), and today we have accepted an unconditional offer on the house. We aren't exactly cracking open the champagne and whooping with joy as its for a lot less than we were originally asking, but that's the way the market is in Tauranga at the moment, and we could not guarantee that anyone would come in with a higher offer at the auction as properties are just not shifting. We are looking at is very realistically and realising that it will enable us to close the chapter on our NZ adventure, and we can start re-building our life back here in the UK.

Best wishes to everyone setting out on their journey, or already settled in NZ.
