A1 houses

Has anyone bought houses from these people? Apart from the cost of the house what other costs are there? I know that screws etc... are not included but how much more can you realisitically expect to pay? Are the builders charges reasonable?

They sell kitset homes don't they? I don't know A1 Homes, so this isn't aimed at them, but most kitset homes can be a nightmare, as they only include the basics, and you then have to find your own builders, plumbers, sparkies, etc, and there's no guessing how much it can all cost in the end with little 'extras' the builders say you need. I think if I were to build, I'd want a fixed price quotation from a building company so I know in advance what it'll cost, how long it will take etc, and not have any nasty suprises at the end!
