Wow sounds great Amy, you're getting well into it all, good for you! Swimming with the seals sounds quite divine!
It's so hot up here in Auckland too but nice and breezy through the house, perfect! The cicadas are going crazy.... the sound of Summer hey!
I loved the snow though so you can't have it all.... unless you travel!

Oh and Dawn....I can't help but think of the sore bum you'd get on a horse that long! Is there a preventative cushion/saddle you could use? ( I realise that you're a keen horsewoman!)

With all this horse-riding discussion, I'm curious: what sort of saddles do Kiwis tend to use when trail riding - English or Western?

Dawn - I don't know if you'd want me to be wingman (but thanks for the confidence). It's been a long time since I've been on a horse, and I had precious little experience then. A walking horse is good. Trotting and cantering are another thing altogether.
