New Plymouth

Hi Guys,

Happy 2007, hope everyones dreams come true this year :)

Well Stu and I have had a fab time touring the North Island again over the holidays. We've spent a few days in New Plymouth and love it. Does anyone have any comments on it or live her to give us some insight to what it offers etc?

We still love Wellie and will be in Wellie until May when my contract runs out at work.

Then we're going to the South Island for two months before heading back to the UK for a few weeks. When we come back we'll probably stay in the North Island again before going to Oz for 3 months then return to NZ full time (all going well with reseidency of course). So any comments on New Plymouth would be appreciated.

If anyone wants information on Rotorua or Wellington as places to live feel free to ask as they're the only two places we've stayed at the mo but hope to build our list up a bit before settling and buying.

This is the New Plymouth website, which may provide some background info if you're considering living there. Not sure if we've got anyone who's actually settled there, but let's hope someone might, at least, have spent some time there to be able to give you an insight on what it's like.

You sure seem to have a full itinerary, Amy. 2007 will be a very busy and mobile year for you with plenty of places to go and things to do. Good luck to you with all of it.

Cheers MB for the link. Yeah we have a very busy 2007, but we knew the next two years would be busy until we decide when and where to settle. We want to experience as much as possible before settling and thinking of baby kiwi's etc ;D
