Rental Property Websites

Can anyone recommend good websites for rental property apart from Bayleys and Harcourts?

Someone told me about a good website but couldn't remember the name. All he could remember is that the home page has three coloured buttons (one was blue for rental property), and the NZ map on the home page changed colour when (blue) you selecet the rental buton..............

A link to a post a short while ago, giving most of the big real estate agents. Have a look on their sites for rentals. Some have drop down menus you can select 'Rental' from, others you can select it on the home page.

The one I found with a blue rental button was Propertystuff.co.nz. Perhaps this is the one you heard about. Apart from that Realenz is the biggest one, I think.

Im after properties to rent too - if you find any good ones can you let me know, ive followed all the links given here but they seem to be mostly targeting properties to buy. Im looking in wellington/lower hutt area.

Rental properties come and go quickly and a lot are not put on websites but just held by agents. There are a few on www.realenz.co.nz - you select your region and then select your property type i.e. "rental".

Propertystuff.co.nz seems a pretty good site.

I have also registered with Harcourts as they seem to cover most of NZ. They make a charge for their services, but as Glenda says rental property goes quickly, so it might help to have someone looking out for you.

You really have to hunt around on some of these sites. It's not at all obvious where the 'rentals' section is - sometimes it's shown at the top of the page, sometimes in the little menus and sometimes you just have to hunt through all the blurb to find it. Not very user friendly. I think most of them have rentals, but certainly not all.
