Non resident interested in purchasing in NZ

Hi- does anyone have any information on non residents purchasing property in New Zealand? We cannot relocate to NZ but are interested in having a holiday home there and are not sure if this is even an option. Thank you! Kelly

Yes, non NZ residents can purchase properties in NZ. I believe there is a restriction on the size of the section (land with the house) you can buy, which I'm pretty sure is 1 acre.

Apart from that, its not a problem.
