Default just one more thing

this morning, sitting on a bus for an hour and three quarters in torrential rain and looking forward to the same thing this evening except that it will be over two hours, 1/2 or 3/4 hr journeys seem like a walk in the park! I know it's all relative but I've been doing this journey for nearly three years now and on days like today when, on top of the lousy weather, I'm coming down the 'flu, the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that I'm gonna be out of here before the next winter comes along. Just one more to get through. Feeling a bit sorry for myself this morning.

Default North Shore - Section Res

Hi,
I only looked in this category because my names on evey other one and I thought "Time to be famous, and have my name on every category !!!!).
If only for a few minutes.

Anyway, I saw this thread.

First, I've looked at building in NZ.
We were thinking of going into building with a LTBV. Too difficult !
We've built our own house in the UK.

So, if you want loads of useful websites look here:

http://www.angelfire.com/hi5/neuraln...landlinks.html

Click on "Building Info".

Secondly, there is a great shortage of trades in NZ.
So you may well have to wait quite a few months just to get someone to start building :icon_sad:

Good luck.

Steve

Hi,
Sorry forgot to say.
I found it useful to look at the satellite images of the area where the plots are advertised.
You can often see where the plot is and what's near by.
Saves going there first !

On my links page, under "Pictures & Maps".

In the Canterbury region I'd recommend:
