Default Dunedin - Looking to rent in NEV / Opoho

We just had a great summer in Wanaka and are getting ready to return to Dunedin. We'd prefer to return to the North East Valley / Opoho side of town, as that's where our friends and favorite playgroups are! :)

I've been looking at rental houses in TradeMe for the last few months, but all the good rentals seem to get snatched up so quickly! Since we're still in Wanaka it's hard to compete with the folks already in Dunedin.

So do you have any tips on how we might find a good family-friendly rental in the North East Valley area without actually being able to see it first? It seems a bit tricky, but we lucked out when we came to Wanaka (thanks to someone on the forum) so are hoping we can get lucky again!

    Default rental

Gday, Havent logged in for a while so this was timing.
    Renting in
NEV and Opoho is always a problem.
For one, its student area and two Opoho is the sunniest part of the city.
I'l have a look, but normally its best via Trademe as a lot go on private in the area.
I'm at my Roslyn Office anytime you need help.
    Cheers
    Mark
