I put a thermometer in the sun outside our shop at 2.00pm. Went from 31C (inside temp) to 41C outside in less than a minute! Phew!
Yeh, it was 42 on our decking at lunch time! 34 inside!

Sounds bliss!! enjoy!!
Spare a thought for those of us freeezing our 'bits' off in Uk ... we've had night time temps of -12, day temps of -5, & frozen sea! in the 'warm' south west!
Good to hear our dreams being lived by you all over there, hope it leads to a good summer for us too!
Was certainly another hot, balmy which doensn't make for a good nights sleep!
The good news is that it is much cooler today in Christchurch - although it distinctly looks as though there may be rain on the way.
