    Default Car nicked

Pants, pants and more pants .... my car got nicked last night! So much for crime-free NZ eh? Some young lad/s last night decided to take my wee car for a spin whilst we were asleep.

Good news is that the police have already found it ... bad news is that it has been damaged - ignition barrel and drivers door lock is knackered.

Just hope the insurance covers it all

Parked in the driveway! Police came round earlier saying it was the first car crime they had been to in this area. Made me feel much better Not a great start to moving into a new area. Here's hoping the police find the b*stards before I do

Not a great start for you. Great that the police got on the case pretty quick and have found the car- hope they find the buggers that did it.

    Grrrr

Those little scumbags should be strung up as far as I'm concerned.

On the plus side, they did leave my jump leads in the back and Lucy's sun glasses in the glove box!

Oh thats alright then, let them off in that case

I saw this very interesting sign with Rodney Hide from the ACT party on it. It says:

Zero Tolerance on crime - 3 strikes and you're in (the "in" is pictured behind prison bars)

I thought it was interesting because roughly translated into Taffys head it says 'We wont tolerate any crime AT ALL - only the first 3 offences'. Uh....

Now, I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but wasn't that the same car that kept breaking down? The one that wouldn't start?

They must have been good those "car thieves". Were they expensive?

And if that doesn't work, we'll give them a really stern scolding.

What an infuriating thing to happen, Lou, especially when you've only been in the country 5 mins. Low lifes!
