I got offered the job!

Have been emailed my contract, and my new boss is going to hand deliver the paper copy to our rental on Friday.

As you can imagine, am walking on air at the moment .... looks as though ChCh really is going to be a go-er.

We have a busy day driving and visiting tomorrow, so off for an early night .... catch you guys soon,

So when are you heading down to Christchurch? Will e-mail you with the contact details of some good friends of ours who have just moved from Wellie to Christchurch, they are Kiwis who lived in UK for a couple of years and have now headed home with their 2 little 'uns.

Thanks everyone ...

Still pinching myself this morning as can't believe our luck.

You're right - everything works out for a reason, so guess fate has been playing his card.

We leave Auckland today ... not planning on any major sightseeing as I now have to start work 1st Sept, and need some time to settle in Christchurch and start finding a more permanent rental.
We stay tonight at turangi, and the next stop is Welli. Shall be glad when we arrive in Christchurch for a rest

Job is for Tait, whom are based north-west of CHCH .. Burnside is it?

Best get back to that packing ....
