Schools in Wellington

We are hoping to arrive in Wellington at the beginning of 2009 and have two girls who will need schools. We hope to live somewhere near the centre - Khandallah, Northland, Kelburn, Ngaio etc. I would appreciate any thoughts on good schools. The girls will be 14 and 16 in Jan2009. The 16 year old is just doing her GCSEs now.
