Car Rental.

Yep, we were staying with Taf and WG when bought our car. Registered it there no questions asked. Just changed the address once we were sorted. No probs!!

Or get yourself a PO BOX for $120 the year. We knew we would be shifting around a lot the first few months and haven't had any problems with it for car, insurance, banking, telecom bills, etc. The stickiest one was the tenancy agreement as they want a physical address other than the one you are renting. Well if you don't have family in NZ this is kind of difficult. I'm not sure what other do but in the end the property mgr said, use my address, which we did, and she passed the forms on to us when they came in.

I would have a look at buying a cheap car, it might not cost you much more than a rental. Check trade me out.
