Aside from the drink/drive issue, it looks like someone wants a shakeup where NZ drivers in general are concerned.
Seeing that picture about the fine for jumping a red light reminded me that a colleague of hubster's was thrown into prison here for a few days for a similar offence. Quite a deterrent, I would think - a blanket on a hard concrete floor in the middle of winter.
