AUCKLAND

Manukau City's Waitangi Day family celebrations
Hayman Park, 9.30am, Free.

At least 35,000 people are expected at Hayman Park for Manukau City's 10th annual Waitangi Day family celebrations - possibly the second largest in the country outside Waitangi.

Expect lots of different kai, entertainment, rides and stalls when the event kicks off.
Groove in the Park

Western Springs Stadium, 12pm to 9pm, $10.

American DJ Roger Sanchez is the headliner in a huge line-up of local and international acts at the stadium from midday. Some of the proceeds are going to the Child Cancer Foundation.
