Sounds like you are enjoying your travels down, please bring some nice weather down when you reach Wellie, We'd offer you a parking space at ours but we park on the steet. We've seen quite a lot of campervans parking infront of hotels in Wellie tho which is odd? Dont know if they are staying there in the carpark or the hotel as its not in the customer carpark?? I may go for a nose one lunchtime to see if there's any parking signs where they park to try and suss out what they are up to for you

Thanks for the replies. We've been in The Coromandel for a couple of weeks and are now in Mt Manganui (14 Dec) for the weekend. The weather here is fine and sunny, so fingers crossed it holds for the hols. Have had loads of fun so and the van is running well, despite me getting it stuck in deep gravel at Fletcher Bay, completely deserted and miles from civilisation... :-[ Still, that's one for the pub later!

Hope to post some exciting pics as soon as we get a decent internet connection....
