Yay, for daylight saving. Have been woken up at 6am the last couple of weeks because of the daylight and the noise of birdsong (especially tuis) through thin house walls.

For the next three/four weeks it should be no trouble ringing the UK - they will be exactly 12 hours behind us. The confusion starts again after that date.

Yes, I can empathise with you there Glenda - I've been surprised at how light it's been at 6am lately..... :o

Isn't it towards the end of October that the UK clocks go back? I remember it always used to be around my birthday on the 27th...... [smiley=eusa_think.gif] Anyway, like you say, the 12 hour difference will be easy to remember for a few weeks until it all changes again [smiley=icon_rolleyes.gif]

Oh happy days - summer is on the way ;D

Oh, and thanks for the reminder of the clocks changing MB [smiley=023.gif]

Yes, it's the last Sunday in October, which will be the 29th this year.

While you're scratching your heads, both in the UK and NZ, give a thought to the likes of myself, caught between the two of you :D. Our clocks don't change at all which is just as well as it's difficult enough trying to keep track of UK's changing times as well as NZ's.

It appears we'll just have to worry about changing weekends when they convert from Thursday/Friday to Friday/Saturday in line with Dubai. That'll mean our holy day (Friday) will now be before the other weekend day instead of after it - like you all having Sunday before Saturday. :o
