    Default How long between Application Received and Lodgement date?

    Hi, I sent off my ITA and the status online is now showing Application Received. Lodgement date is still blank. Lodgement date will show up only after immigration had checked that we had submitted all the compulsory documents, it seems. Anyone knows roughly how many days (or months) in between Application Received and Lodgement date showing?

    I got my own question answered. It took 1 day for lodgement date to appear.

    Default Order of online status updates

    @pamela88:
    Great!

    However, I've been wondering the same, since my online status has no visible lodgement date yet.
    Got a confirmation letter though, stating: " We received your application on 23 December 2009 and we accepted it for processing on ." The date is just missing!

    The Health Certificate Details got updated though: "Full Medicals... Received"
    Doesn't this normally happen after the appearance of the lodgement date?
    Should I be worried?

    I think no harm to send them an email and ask why the lodgement date is not appearing. Perhaps it is a typo. From what you described, it should appear.
    For me, the lodgement date was important because my IELTS was going to expire soon.
    Lodgement date is mentioned in the your online status screen on the website as well.

    Congratulations to both Till and Pamela on lodging your applications!
    @Till, along with your confirmation letter, did you receive a receipt for your payment? If so I don't think you have anything to worry about. But, yes, like Pamela says, you should write to them and ask. Better safe than sorry I guess! :)

    @tamtra
    Thanks for your reply.
    I'd like to know though, how much time normally lies between submission and lodgement date.
    Would you mind telling yours?

    Yes, I did.

    Right, I'm gonna do that.

    Hi till,

    From what I recall, it didn't take long at all. We couriered it to them(the Shanghai Office) on the 7th of December, and it was accepted on the 9th of December - the status changed on our online account against our application. Soon after, we received a letter with the lodgement dates, payment receipts, plus some originals we had sent.

    So not long at all...

    Regards,
    Tamtra

    I see that you have submitted your application during the holidays. It might take them some time. The date on my application changed almost after a week, backdated tho. Let us know if your status has changed now.
