    Default Need a rant!!!!!

Just when we thought we were gettign somewhere with PR bloody imigration go and spoil it all again.

After Neil seeing the specialists and pretty much getting the all clear the Medical Accessor has now requested (after about 2 months of having the letters) Neil have some other blood test for some rare disease which the Haemotologist has already said is likely to be negative.

    AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Neil is really p'd off now. He hates the job he's in and can't change til we have PR which just keeps getting dragged out more and more with pointless shit. God there are people wo have come here with exosting medical conditions that require regular medication. Neil is perfectly healthy other than a few high blood levels. It is like they are trying to find soemthing wrong with him so they can turn us down.

Neil is in the mind set now of giving it all up and going back to the UK where he can earn more money for the shit jobs.

I dunno- it's like we have come so far and spent so much- what is another blood test but then i'm not the one having to go to a job every day that i hate and go through all the intrusion of the medicals and blood tests.

Thing we will be having a big discussion tonight. Just needed to get some stuff off my chest so I can get on with my day.

Oh that really stinks ... how many more tests can they demand Neil has? Seems as though you have got yourselves lumbered with a jobsworth.

Nothing more really to say - just hope you can get through this ....

How annoying - I can understand Neils frustration. You have come so far and now having to jump to the tune of a 'jobsworth' is almost enough to throw in the towel. Hang in there and get the tests done then you can shove it in his face After then you can do what you want. As long as you keep talking together you can work it out.

Well Neil called his Haemotologist yesterday morning and he was pretty annoyed too.
He arranged all the paperwork and the test for Neil and he got it done yesterday afternoon.
Hope fully should have the results early next week and can get themsent of and there really can't be anything else they can throw at us. Fingers crossed.

    What a bloody nightmare
Im not looking forward to going through that process at all
Colins same in his job,he likes the people ok,but pay is pretty poor for the hrs they put in,and always having the threat of the employers not getting any more work,is a constant worry
Like yous, we hope once perm res is secured he can change jobs.
We havent even started applying yet,as im waiting on getting assessd in my job to gain quals
And Colin doesnt know if he has any work ahead in feb
Like yous we think,is it worth all the hassle?
But we soon realise that its just as tough back in Scotland getting work
And at least here we are happy, skint but happy
So keep your chins up,surely now it wont be much longer for yous(fingers crossed)

    Default Just hang in there!

You've already crossed so many hurdles and are so close to the finish line - all you and Neil need to do now is hang in there for a little longer. We're waiting to see what our Medical Assessor wil have to say about my multiple health conditions - but this is going to be a fairly long wait since we just submitted our ITA. I'm hoping to hear about your PR approval way before that. Good luck!

I hope everything has been cleared up by now. What a pain. Good luck!
