    Default Evidence of work Experience

    Hi everyone and thanks to you all for the warm welcome to the forum.

    In my ITA i have to provide evidence that my work experience has utilised the skills that i claim to posses.

    The guidance suggests that not only will I need to provide details of employers, dates, location, job title/description etc but also some supporting evidence like payslips ( I might ave some P60's that might do).

    In addition the guidance also wants evidence of use of those skills wich I cannot really get my head around.

    I was at the Emigrate event in Liverpool yesterday and had a chat with the INZ officers on their stand who do not seen to think this is a big deal.

    I have a BA and an MA id the required field and i would have though that these would have sufficed.

    Has anyone had these problems and does anyone have any examples of what evidence INZ will accept

    just about anything official. Employment contracts, payslips, letters of recommendation, letter from employer offering you the position, letter from the employer confirming your past status even government tax forms. Professional organizations membership that showed you worked there.

    You can' have worked for someone and have no evidence you ever worked there.

    Default Evidence

    Thanks Cliff

    I do have a load of evidence that i worlked there. Unfortuneately none of it says how i used my skills.

    My current employer has written a great letter outlining dates, job title promotions etc and what i actually did in carrying out that role.

    Unfortuneately that only goes back to 2003 and NZIS want info back to 1998as it form points on my Application.

    My previous employer has a policy to only offer dates, job title and whether they would re-employ and none of the directors who i worked with are still there and it should be on letter head.

    I was thinking of asking some of the clients to attest to my skills and how they were used during that period as many of them are still my client group.

    any thoughts??
