Default How long is the Visa valid for?
Hi all,
Could somebody help me, I am looking to see how long a visa is valid for.
I am definitely going out in January, however my other half won't be coming until the house is sold. So we don't want the visa to expire before he has even left the country.
I have looked and looked on the immigration website, but I can't find it.

What type of visa is it? There are several different kinds, all lasting for different lengths of time.

Apologies, is it residency?????
We have had our EOI accepted through the skilled migrant category and we have now had our ITA sent to us. I don't want to send it back off too early in case it comes back and we have to go within six months.
Hope that has made it clearer

Hi

You have 12 months to activate your Residency which means both you and your partner would have to arrive in New Zealand before the 12 months is up or you will lose it.
