Default Went PR Route ... how long?

My husband & I submitted our application for PR after our EOI was selected. We had 195 points on the EOI and we don't need any medical/character/etc waivers. We wanted to go the PR route because we didn't want the headache of having to do all those forms again! However, now that it's submitted, I'm a little nervous. I am supposed to be in NZ by January 1. Do you think it will be approved by then? I have a permanent job offer. We are in the US and we are working with the London branch. Thanks for any insights you can give!

    Hi Mountainlake.

195 is a lot of points to have and with a job offer, too, I would guess your application would be near the top of the list for processing. Would I be right in assuming that you have just submitted your ITA? If you are dealing with London Branch their processing times for ITAs are 'between 3 weeks and 3 months' so one way or another you should hear before January.

    That information comes from here.

We submitted our ITA with a job offer to the London branch and had PR approved in principal within a week and our visa's & passports returned within another 2 weeks. You should definitely have it well before January.

Very exciting news -- we were just informally advised that our residency application has been approved! HOORAY!

We actually had to send some other documents in, which they got around 8/25. So they were very quick (the London branch, that is).

Thank you everyone for your advice! My husband & I are doing the happy dance!!

We're also going through the London branch with the same amount of points and a job offer but ours has been held up by my medicals.

I have to have more tests done and then see from there.

We submitted our ITA end of June.

    Lucky you Mountainlake.
I'm still waiting, this is our third month of waiting on PR decision or WTR.
    Congrats!
