Default i got my CO but...

Dear All,

Finally, I got my CO assgined recently , and heard some concerns from her regarding my ITA application. I would appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.

1.) She needs proof of my(prinicpal applicant's ) English language ability :
my qualification ( Bachelor Computer science) which is on NZ recognised qualification list , was conducted in English medium. Can i show it as a proof.

2.) My wife's qualification ( M.Sc Chemistry) is not on the NZ recognised qualification list. Can any1 tell me , how to get the NZQA assesments done?

Any info or help will be appreciated.

Regards,
Damy

Hi Damy,

You can get the qualifications converted by NZQA here: New Zealand Qualifications Authority [ NZQA ]

I can't recall the situation with proving English language ability, you used to be able to use qualifications if conducted in English, or failing that have to prove your IELTS score: IELTS

Hi Damy:

For English, both you and your partner can take the IELTS - conducted like twice a month at British Councils worldwide. 14 days to test result. Pretty straight fortward.

NZQA is easy. You will however, need to send in the original transcripts and degrees. I suggest you use Fedex, etc. so that you can track it. Contact your colleage and get a certified copy of your transcripts. Pack it all together and send it across. New Zealand Qualifications Authority [ NZQA ] tell you how to do it. Its pretty straight forward.

Default Problem solved

Hi fevziye99,

Thnaks for the help, my problem got solved, my recog. qualifictaion was conducted in English, so i don't need to prove my English language ability anymore, as my CO got convinced about it. Also , i had worked in a IT company in NZ ealier in 2005/06 for almost an year . Our medical reports are being examined and appplication is under processing ( just keeping my fingers crossed , that all goes smooth from here on .)
