Talking Approved in Principle
After a really sh***y week I got an email today from my CO saying that our ITA was approved in principle Just 5 days after it was lodged (we handed it in late last Friday so they didn't lodge it until Monday 28th). As we had handed in our passports with our ITA she wanted to know if we wanted her to place our file in the queue for our blue stickers. Of course I said YES. Now we just have to sell our house (our original buyer could not get a mortgage after all) and then we are done. It is all happening now - just can't wait.

1st August '08...Husband received his passport containing "blue stickers".

Whole process from beginning to approval and blue stickers in passport...3 months and 9 days.



18th September...Fares Booked...Texas to Wellington.

5-11-08- .Flying out from LAX...ONLY 26 days to go.


This Kiwi is flying home.

Great News Nicky- def no turning back now.
Didn't know house sale had fallen through- are the estate agents hopeful it well still sell in time? I know the market is slowing down over there isn't it.

Hope ours goes through as quick when we finally get a job.

Thanks Beth & kiwisue. Our buyer was not completely truthful with the mortgage advisor and the mortgage was withdrawn. We have put it back on the market with another 4 agents at a much lower price. This will get people through the door and then hopefully they will make reasonable offers. We can but hope
