Bloody hell! How have I missed this thread? Great, fab and fantastic news for you guys How vair, vair exciting

Couple of things. Campervan. We actually really enjoyed it! Yep, it was cold when you first wake up in the morning but that's about it really. They have little heater thingys, and once you're plugged into your campsite for the evening that's it, it's on and everyone's toasty. Same first thing in the morning, flick it on with your big toe from under the duvet and it's warm in 5 minutes. It does get damp though. Ours was mouldy in places and it damaged some of our clothes. The company 'Maui' compensated us but it would have been better if it hadn't happened. They're not cheap though, I think it cost us around $4000 for a 6 berth van for the month.

We loved just taking off wherever we wanted. It was a great way to see everywhere and because of the time of year the campsites always had spaces available usually in the best spots looking out over the sea (if we were on the coast of course). It's a good chance for the family to muck in as well. Being in a big house where everyone has their own private space is a bit different to everyone being within spitting distance 24 hours a day. It was .......interesting Your babies are still little though so it wouldn't be quite the same for you.

Hamilton - like Taff says, I too am also surprised that more peeps don't use it as a base for fact finding. It's a perfect location. Easy to get anywhere from here and with the airport just 20 mins out of town you can fly anywhere as well, even Australia. We had never even considered Hamilton before we got here, we hadn't even looked at the place. It was as if, at least to us, that it didn't even exist. But when we got here, you know, it just made sense.

Raglan is stunning. It's wild and wonderful. We liked it straight away and if it weren't for the fact that I need to have quite a decent population on hand for my work, we would have lived there. We may end up there yet as it's only a 40 min drive from Ham.

Jon and I will be just peachy Taffy is just kidding when he says that I am a bit free with my insults . It's only coz they're usually directed at him. I am the epitomy of good manners, tact and diplomacy. It's just that I'm a little too honest for some people's liking Yep, folks it's the honesty that does it every time. I would never blatantly insult someone, it just sometimes comes out wrong Big mouth and big feet I'm afraid.

Willow - I've told you she can come board with us. My two are fine with other dogs they'll be excited to have a new friend. Just get her over and don't worry about it. You've seen, she's got plenty of room to run around, horses to bark at, wild rabbits to chase, Hugo may even show her how to catch them and eat them head first

So excited for you guys.
