I would look out for a Toyota Hiace if you want a smaller camper. More expensive than a Mazda but well worth the money. You can't beat the Toyotas for reliability, and their engines are bulletproof. I was driving a minibus version a little while back which had nearly 600,000kms on it, and you'd think it was fresh from the showroom the way it drove!

thanks Maggie and Taffy ...

We now have plan B ... stay at a lodge place near the airport for the first couple of days, and then we've found some bachs near Raglan, that take dogs and do deals for a longer rent, so might get one for a month!

That is assuming I don't have a job by then, as the Hamilton job is back on the cards at the moment .. don't ask, very long and complicated!!

Lou

Hi Lou, wow a bach in Raglan for a while, I LOVE Raglan, used to go there a few times every summer, the surf is fantastic Nice relaxed lifestyle there, a lovely way to ease yourself into the NZ way of life.

short and uncomplicated ...

The manager that normally interviews candidates wasn't available when I was interviewed, so I was interviewed by the engineers which might explain some of the gruelling ordeal.

On reflection, they're decided that they didn't find out the information from me, and would now like a further telephone interview!

Crikey eh?

Lou

All is not lost - I find telephone interviews much better than face to face ones. I can swing my arms about without looking a fool (not that it;s that hard for me to look a fool ) Good luck.
