What is it that you're confused about, Damy? You don't have to have a job offer to apply for PR, just enough points to take you over the 100 minimum requirement, which you must have because you've already submitted your application. Obviously the more points you have the better chance you have of getting selected early. With your degree and also NZ work experience that should help with your points and, if you are able to get another job offer in the meantime that would help a lot more. It's not really necessary to have PR before you can get a job but I guess it all depends on the company and whether they feel they are wasting their time offering you a job when, perhaps, you may not get PR or may decided against going to NZ after all. Many people have had job offers before they got their PR.

My confusion is that since i have applied my ITA w/o a job offer , how long would it take the nzis to make a decision, since it has been 2+ months . i have'nt heard anything yet. While my earlier work Visa application earlier was processed within a week.

If your earlier application was processed quickly it was probably because you had the job offer. INZ does work faster where job offers are concerned so don't be surprised if, without a job offer, your current application takes quite a bit longer. They will always take those who have the highest points and those with job offers first.

If you are really worried you could always contact them to make sure all is well. I'm sure it's just INZ taking their time that's causing the problem and not that anything is wrong. It also depends on how busy the particular branch you're dealing with is as to how long it takes before you hear from them.
