Jst thought I'd fill you in. We put our EOI in online 25th August after we had both received job offers here in good old NZ. We were pulled from the pool 29th August with 185 points and our ITA arrived yesterday 6th September. So going on what Lou's been saying that's a darn sight quicker than if you're waiting to hear whilst still in the UK. Needless to say we areon the case and should have everything in within a week or two.

Welwynrose - we've had to apply for work permits in the meantime, they're still in the system and they better bloody hurry up coz we need to earn some money like NOW!

Be prepared for the expense you guys.
$200 each for work permits = $400
$200 each for applications to study (all kids you want in education) = $600
$400 online EOI
$1400 ITA
$300 each migrant levy if successful to a max of $1200
Meds $180 each Dr's checks = $900
X-rays $100 each 11 years and over = $400
Bloods $92 each 15 years and over = $282

Not cheap folksies and will make a serious dent in your capital, especially if you're not earning.
