Default Had the interview today
Just finished the interview about 15 minutes ago ...

It was pretty much what I expected--thanks to this forum! There were lots of questions about my plan to find a job, my contacts, my knowledge of cost of living and salaries in NZ, why I chose NZ, what I planned to do for accommodations, etc.

I think it went well, but because I'm a little nervous. Most of my answers began with "Well, when I have a better sense of our timeline, I'll ..." I hope they understand that anyone with an iron-clad plan is kidding themselves.

My biggest concern at this point is that I won't get PR but WTR, which would leave me with a difficult decision to make.

Well done on getting through the interview, but what makes you think you'd only get the WTR? Did they say something to make you feel you mightn't get PR directly? I thought, being a teacher, you'd fly in.

They probably looked on here and thought "looks like trouble that one, better make it difficult for him"

As the bear says, you're in demand so I doubt they will go the WTR route. Even if they do, I wouldnt be too concerned about it. As long as you stay out of trouble (especially with forum mods) then you'll be fine.
