ITA at last
At last! Yippee! Nearly kissed the postman!! ITA arrived. :icon_lol:
Just given up hope and was getting more depressed as more of you were successful when the doorbell rang this morning! :icon_rolleyes: What a great day at work I've had today.....knowing that soon I will be gone! ITA at last
Oh boy, now the fun really starts for you!
Since receiving our ITA in late May, I've been feeling just a bit frazzled with making sure I'm getting things done in a timely manner. I realized this week that I really should get a new passport, because mine expires in 12 months. It ought to get here within 3 months (I hope). And am wondering how long the FBI will take to check my priors and memberships in subversive organizations. The cats got their first blood sample for rabies titre today. And the list goes on. Aieeee! And I'm beginning to cut loose with proper English spellings (e.g. "titre"), but get confused when I am writing to a fellow American. Damn you, Daniel Webster (or was it Noah W?)! So Taffy, where's the emoticon with sweat beads leaping out of its head, or a hair-tearing emoticon? I need one today. :119: just doesn't quite say it. A glass of wine would do nicely (have one for me, won't you?).

Glen - EOI was submitted 7th Feb and selected 8th Feb but with no job offer it has taken til now!!
Stevey - will definitely keep you updated! This forum has been my lifeline during a period of insanity. Just need my brothers documents now for the family points, my medicals, renew my police checks which have just run out and them can send off the form. Was a bit shocked to see the form was just a print out of the EOI with a staple in it and they want another ?520.......anyway small price to pay for the rest of my NZ life!!! :038: Fisheress | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Delighted to hear the good news! A long wait though - do you have any finger nails left? I probably do no need to say it but I will - I am very very jealous! Unfortunately I am a very long way from being in the same position.
