Smile From Texas to New Zealand....

Hi Everybody:

I am a New Zealander and my husband is a native born Texan. My husand is applying for PR in New Zealand under the Family/Partnership Category. We sent his application away to the New Zealand Consulate in Washington DC on the 14th April 2008 and are now awaiting the allocation of a CO.
We are hoping to be on our way to New Zealand in Spring (08).

This is a great forum.

Hi Beth...Thanks for your welcome....Yes more than likely we will head back to the Kapiti Coast...Yes we have submitted my husband's application for PR and we are waiting for notifaction that he has a CO...Don't know how long that will take. I am sure we will have plenty of questions we can ask before this process is through.

to you both. Welcome aboard.

Has Ron visited NZ before or will this be his first time? I bet it will be a big change from Texas.

Hi keeweegal and Mother Bear...

Thanks for your warm welcomes.

keeweegal...Nice to see another Kiwi on this forum...We may need to ask more questions before this journey is through.

Mother Bear....Yes Ron has visited New Zealand and he can't wait to get back there...He will definitely miss Texas, but we may get back here for a visit after we have settled in New Zealand...I look forward to seeing my family again...We hope to be going to New Zealand this Spring...We will have two summers which will be good.
