Hi
I came over to N.Z at end of january,with my hubby and 2 of my 3 kids.
My eldest stayed back home in Scotland as he has college.
We came over as visitors,to well ,check the place out.
We like what we saw and within 3 weeks hubby had job offer.
Just waiting on the work permit now,which seems to be taking forever.
Looking forward to getting to know you all

Meadow. Another Christchurchian. Perhaps you'd like to sign up for the Chch coffee/tea group. Kokopeli is getting a few folks together to organise a meetup so, if you want to put your name down, go to Groups near the top of the forum along with all the other titles.

How are you finding Christchurch? It is on our list as possibles ... although the cold weather is putting us off.

Weathers starting to go to Autumn now .......... like a nice spring day for me (ex Scotland) but the locals complain its cold ....... hahaha

Im sure you will have no prob in the visa front they just dont seem to rush too much.

Its not that cold here !!!!!!! lol I arrived in October and thats it only started to cool down now .......... compared to the UK this is tropical.......... you'll love it here
