From Serbia

Hi everybody

This forum suits me perfectly, because my family and I planning to move in NZ.
We choose Christchurch, and I already saw there are a lot of threads and comments about this city.

We read and explore about NZ and now it is time to talk with living people.

Right now we are living in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Nice town, but very crowdy. My wife and I had very successful career here, but we need to think about our two daughters. Living with nature and with out stress is something that we own to our kids (and that is good for us as well).

Looking forward to see hints and advices from your folks

Hi and to the forum. We are heading to Christchurch in September. What line of work are you in?

We are planning to arrive by the end of this year, but our final date is end of January (because of our children - school etc.)

My wife has accounting company here, but she is planning to study at the Canterbury Christ Church University (Mass Media and Communications), and I would like to find a job in security area (as ex-military).

In 2003 I was in York, UK in York St. John College for 3 months as foreign student, so I may say that I have certain experience with you Brits

I haven't got much to add I'm afraid as I haven't had any experience of Christchurch. I just wanted to say 'Hello'. Hopefully some of the others who are down that way will pop in and see your post.
