Default Hello from Gary and Tracy

Hello. Firstly, what a great Forum!!!! We have found it to be so helpful. My husband and I have two children (4 and 2) and his parents have lived in New Zealand for the past 24 years so we are really excited about possibly moving there with them. We are currently going around in circles as to which way is best to emmigrate. The family and skilled migrant visa looks out of the question however, LTBV looks more promising. My husband runs and owns his own web design business so we are hoping that this may be the way forward. Once we have all the answers then I hope we'll have the experience and answers for others in future.

Tracy and Gary. Nice to see you dipping your toe in and testing the water.

It will go in your favour that Gary's parents are living in NZ so all you need to do now is get your application for a LTBV under way. I take it that Gary doesn't have the required quals and job title to apply under the Skilled Migrant Category, which would probably be a bit easier than going the LTBV route?

Good luck with making your decisions and for your future application.

Default Thanks

Hi Guys

Thanks for warm welcome. We are currently living in Kent.

We are going to go to the Expo in London in April which will hopefully be quite informative!

OH parents live just outside Auckland so we will be looking into moving close to them.

Good luck ebianca on your move. Any advice after flight with kids would be welcome cheers Great reading MB on your year to date. Thanks.

I think Macfod must take credit for that, Tracy. Unfortunately I haven't had a year in NZ to report back on yet although I am eagerly awaiting my turn.
