I see you are from Lancashire- where abouts?

Well if you have submitted your EOI then you are part of the way there. Do you know where you are heading to in NZ etc?

If you need to ask any questions there are plenty of peeps on here willing to answer (although they may not all be answers you are looking for )

We are from Chorley, not sure where we like to go but love the outdoors. Ian my better half() ) .has a possible job offer in Canterbury with a construction agency, we will find out next week. Does anyone know of a company that deals with pet relocation? Some of the quotes have been very expensive! I have soooo many questions, dont know where to start!! Thanks for the welcome!!

We are in Rossendale.

Fire away with any questions- there is always someone about that will have an answer for you.

Can't help you out on the pet front as we are not planning on taking our cat. There are others on here that have and are taking pets but I do beleive that it is very expensive with shipping and vet bills etc.

Feel free to join in the fun too- this place is a madhouse (but a good one).

So not too far from us then? Where are you hoping to go? There are so many fantastic places, we are spoilt for choice! We change our minds all the time! We went to the Expo in manchester but have to admit it wasnt what i expected.

Not too far at all really- My mum used to work in Chorley- other than that I don't know much about the place.

We are heading for Wellington- for work opportunities more than anything- OH is in IT Project Management.

We also went to the Manchetser expo (for the second time)- OH got acouple of leads for work- or so we thought- haven't heard anything since.

We are heading to NZ in March/April once OH has finished a contract in Manchester- no Visa's though- we need a job offer to secure our points so will be doing everything from NZ.

Yes we have 4 kids between us, mine are 20yrs and 16yrs, the 16yr old is coming with us she is looking forward to moving, something to do with the dolphins!! Ians kids are 20yrs and 22yrs and they are staying in the UK, but im sure they will be coming for hols! We were hoping to go by march/april but with what im reading on here people wait months and months! That would drive me insane! Do you have kids?

Hey Sandra I bet the quotes you've had for the pets aren't expensive, it's just that transporting pets IS expensive. We brought our two dogs over with us and all in all it cost us about ?8k. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with
