    Wink Hi Everybody

    Hi Folks
We have just started the process of moving to NZ ( we hope ) Kathy is a Primary teacher teaching in Cheshire, and she is going to be the main visa holder.
Lots and lots of papers have gone off to the agents to get her teaching qualifications accepted.
I`m going to be a kept man, after all someone has to look after the barbie.
We have two teenagers Jenny just 18 and Simon 16.
If all goes well we hope to be there about this time next year. We have to wait for Jennys A levels etc and Kathy to finish her school year. Plus of course a job offer in NZ.

    to the forum, Jakespa.

You'll be in good company here with at least 2 other 'kept men' in our jolly band. What do your teens think about moving to NZ? It's that time of life when mates and new loves get in the way of immigration plans, as they are considered to be more important than embarking on a whole new life downunder.

Have you any ideas on where you'd like to settle or are you just waiting to see where Fate will shove you?

Hope you'll stick around and join in the fun.

We would like to go to the HawkesBay area, but realisticaly on the teaching front for Kathy it will probably be Auckland at least to start with. She has registered with Oasis teacher recruitment who are Auckland based.
Jenny cant get there soon enough and says will go even if we were to change our minds ( we wont ). Simon being a typical lad doesnt appear too worried either way. They have been warned that any big love affairs will come to a sudden halt.
The plan is for Simon to continue his education when we arrive. Jenny will be armed with her brand new A levels and will be looking for something in the sports and leasure industry.

Welcome to the forum. We too hope to be in NZ by next September. We will be bringing our 2 sons - Mark who will be 16 and Luke who will be 14. Mark is 'in love' at present but has accepted that it will have to be a long distance love affair - if it lasts that long

Anyway just wanted to welcome you and wish you luck.
