Hello!

For those who don't know, and those who do, here it goes:

Hello from southeast New Hampshire, USA!

I'll be headed to NZ on PR in August, bringing with me my wife of 13 years and my 2 sons, Evan (4) and Connor (2). You can see some pictures of my family at our website.

I began thinking about NZ in 2003 and filed my EoI in July, 2006. I was selected during the next draw, and I filed my ITA in February, 2007. The visas are finally on their way as I type this!

I'm an English teacher by profession and my wife is a project manager for a software company. I'm hoping to find a teaching position in NZ and my wife will work remotely for her current employer.

Your boys look like little sweeties KH. I found some photos yesterday when I was emptying the garage of my son when he was about that age, they made me cry! Between 2 years and 5 years is a beautiful, beautiful age. Hold these years close my friend, they fly so quickly

Your boys are gorgeous! I have a two year old...well he will be on July 3rd...as well, they are so precious! Where are you hopinng to settle in NZ? Congratulations again

Thank you Dawn and Bermy Girl! I do love my boys, and you are right about this age ... It's nice that I can hug them and kiss them whenever I want and there's *nothing they can do about it!*

When I wish that they would stay little forever, I remember how exciting each new first is and how I wouldn't want to miss any of those either, and it makes them growing up a little more tolerable.

As for the other issue, we're hoping to settle in Chch. If all goes according to our hastily thrown together plan, we'll be there in late July or early August.
