Default Me and my family to NZ, from NL

    Hello everyone,

    I'm a dutch women, 31 years old.
Together with my boyfriend, 35 (for 12 years now, seems odd to call him 'boyfriend', but not married, so..) and our son who is 1 year old, we are planning to move, live and work in NZ.

At this time I'm working as a CCU Nurse, I already found out that it's a complicated process to become a registered nurse in NZ, but I'll want to try anyway.

I would love to me other people who already live in NZ, preferably people who live on the North island, and maybe by this contact I can improve my English reading and writing.

    Hope to hear from someone!

    Yours sincerely,
    Mariska

Your English seems to be excellent already! Still, feel free to post as much as you like

Welcome Mariska. As Taffy says, your English is pretty good already, but hang around, read the posts on the forum and join in wherever you wish. We're always happy to hear what people have to say .

    Hi Mariska
I don't know how complicated the process of registration as a nurse in NZ is, but be assured that many people from overseas have done it! In fact at least half the nurses my father has had during his latest stay in hospital have been overseas trained.
