Exclamation Meadow's story hits the front page

Our valued and long time member Meadow has made front page news regarding the very difficult situation she and her family have been facing over the past few months. There are other recent threads on the forum and also her blog is available for those who have come into this late and don't know the full story.

    Meadow and her family's dilemma.

Meadow, I just hope you can find some support now that it's all out in the open. Good luck to you and your family.

Crikey Meadow .. I go away for a couple of days and you're in every paper!

It's a good article though ... hope it makes some difference, although probably too little, too late for yourselves.

    Hi Lou
Hope your enjoying yourself in Paris

The one in the NZ paper explains things good
the tv interview (channel 3 news nz) explains things good too
These 2 interviews were done with lovely reporters, (Colin fancied both of them,)
But the UK one, never explained things too much, seemed like we were already back home, and never explained about the wrong info. Tbh i didnt know what paper it was going to be, i thought it was a wee magazine in UK, wasnt me that organised it, and it was as much a shock to us

And now we have been asked to speak on GMTV
I said no to that one

We are only pissed off at the wrong info we got in march, which resulted in Colin charging around looking for a job with aluminium in title, when if immigration chch had told him in march, 4 whole new work permits, then we would have probably went back then, and saved some cash

We dont have any big conflict with immigration NZ, we are just annoyed with the wee lassie at the desk who gave us wrong info, but we are over it, and looking forward to getting back now

We still havent had anything official from immigration asking us to leave, which is a relief, as at first we panicked and thought we had to abandon everything and go
So have got a good quote with container and i think dad is booking our flights this week
just still trying to rehome the doggy
The woman who is coming to see bunny, is coming on saturday, she had flu last week
    oh and sell the car
    But getting there now anyway

catch up with you guys before we go x

Even if the news coverage is too late to help you in NZ, perhaps it will have a knock on effect in the UK and Colin can find a job pretty quickly.
