Talking Residency via Partnership Route timeframe ( from UK)

    Hi Everyone,

Just to let those of you know who are thinking about applying or are in the process of applying from the UK for a partnership residency visa, my husband got his acceptance email today. It has only taken 7 weeks from when we put in the application form. Still have to wait for passport to be stamped and they say up to 4 weeks for that. I am impressed, really thought I might be flying out to NZ on my own while hubby is stuck waiting for it.

Congratulations, that was really quick timing. At least you have peace of mind now and can move forward with your plans.

Congratulations, that didn't take too long.

Good to hear too, as we are doing the same thing and my husband submitted the forms 5 weeks ago now. As we hadn't heard anything, I called NZ House today to enquire and was told it may take 3-4 months. Yikes!

Good luck with your plans now and happy packing!!

    Thanks

We didnt hear anything from them either for over 5 weeks (we were told we would be assigned a case worker in 4 weeks.) Then we got a letter and it all happened really quickly after that. I'll keep my fingers crossed you get yours just as quick as us.

We leave for NZ in 5 weeks
