    Default someone pls explain

Well, I am offered a place by a university in Dunedin and will be flying there in February. I wish to take up some part-time job as soon as I arrive and when my lessons begin. Can anyone tell me what permits (working permits?) I needed?

I wish to work at cafeteria, fast-food centres, stalls, or even, private piano tutor, but all as part-time job. Do I need any documents or permits or VISA for that? if so, pls tell me where and how to apply for it and what documents are needed?

Better still, what kind of part-time job is most flexible for university students with an "ok" income?

    Hi,

To work on a student visa you need to apply for a special conditions visa which will allow you to work on your student permit. Speak to your immigration officer dealing with your permit and they will be able to help you on that.
