    Hi Brian and welcome.

Lucky you, having a kiwi wife . She should be able to sponsor you under the Family Sponsorship Category. That is the simplest and most straightforward way for you.

Keeweegal on here is sponsoring her husband, too.

    Good luck.

Aaaah, it's so nice to have an easy question to answer for once.

    Hi Brian

Say Hi to your Kiwi wife for me - where's she from? I'm originally from Chch, then Auckland, then Waikato, London & now Scotland! Hoping to be back in the Waikato by Christmas or just after - timing will be in the lap of the Gods (Immigration NZ!). We're awaiting return of Police & Medical Certs & then application will be made.

I see Mother Bear has pointed you in the right direction, but just shout if you need anything.

They're a mad lot here but if you can handle a Kiwi wife, you shouldn't have too many problems

    Default Her in doors

Well now ,she was from Dunedin then Auckland for around 20 odd years and now we live in Sussex uk.
How long does the immigration process take. Should be quite straight fwd for us , but the timing has to be about right , due to house selling, maybe finding a job etc.

The latest timeframe I had from INZ was that once the application was received, it would "sit in the queue" for approximately 1 month, & processing would take between 1 & 3 months after that.

I'll let you know how our's goes!

You may want to consider selling your house first in the current climate. OH had his visa granted last year, but being valid for only a year, it ran out in August this year & the house hadn't sold. Therefore, he has to apply again

Never mind, we'll get there soon enough
