Default "Get a New Life" BBC Series

Does anyone know how to get a copy of the "Get a New Life" series that appeared on BBC in 2004? I would love to see it! Thanks!

Do you mean the programme with Paul and Julie Goddard? Paul is a member on here (Firing1) and looks in on the forum when he can, so maybe he will be able to throw some light on this.

Yes, that's the one! You are so helpful, Mother Bear! I hope that Paul sees this thread and lets me know! I am also interested in his book, and can't find it anywhere in the US.

    Hi,

Just had a quick look on Amazon.com, and Paul's book is available through there

Amazon.com: Used and New: A New Life in New Zealand

They don't seem to have the DVD of the series - sorry, hope you manage to track it down.

Thank you for pointing that out. However, it's $60 and the book is only 130 pages or so. I was hoping to find it for less than that.

Don't know what's going on with that link Maggiemoo provided! Try this one instead Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: A New Life in New Zealand The top one on the list (firing1) is the author selling them direct and they are listed below the retail price.

OR... you could bid for these , but hurry because the auction closes on 4th Aug.. No other bidders yet, so you could get lucky and have 3 books for NZ$5 plus $5 courier fees if they are desperate enough to want to get rid of them. Don't know what the reserve price is though.

Bear in mind that 4th August in NZ (which is where the auction is being run) comes a long time before 4th August in the US due to different time zones.

    Hi Guys,
just picked this up. The book is available through amazon in the U.S.A. but don't pay those prices for it. They are private companies selling the book and I couldn't believe what they are charging and I certainly don't get anything from them. If you email me I'll see what it would cost to ship to the U.S. and get a copy sent out.

    All the best
