Default work pemit approval times
I am an nz citizen with a british husband. We are hoping to move to nz in late august so that my husband can start his new IT job in auckland.
My husband has applied for a work permit, and residency (under the family catergory) at the same time. Both apps have been sent off and work permit app has a immirgration officer. And they have taken payment lol 90% there !

What time factory do people think we will be looking at to get answer on the work permit ? Any general problems that i should be aware of?

Hi Lanz, welcome to MTNZ

If your husband is applying via the London branch these are the processing times. It looks like it's about 2 weeks for a temporary entry visa (Work Permit), although, as you will read, it's not set in concrete.
